Anyone can feel the need to go to a counsellor. There are phases in life where we find it challenging to deal with situations on our own. We may feel that we are not equipped mentally or strong enough to handle the situation. Speaking to a counsellor helps give a different perspective, provides guidance and support in a non-judgemental manner.

There is no set number of sessions as it depends largely on the problem we will be working on. You can discuss your expectations from the counselling session with me and we can together agree on the number of sessions. Usually, 3-10 sessions are required to address a problem.
Sessions are scheduled in advance and you should be in time for them. Any change in your appointment (cancellation or rescheduling) needs to be made at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled session.
Confidentiality is essential in the process of counselling. Any information that you share as part of the session will be kept confidential except if it is at risk of causing self-harm, harm to others or society at large.
